Dina Meyer is Dina Meyer is a New York native who was born in Forest Hills Queens. She moved from Queens to Dix Hills Long Island just after she completed her high school junior year. She has two younger siblings and a brother who is older. At the age of 9 till 16, she started working in the entertainment business through modeling. Ron Stetson trained her in the acting techniques of Sanford Meisner at The Neighborhood Playhouse. It took around three years. Sandra Bullock received similar training, along with Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton are also amongst the actors who have received this type of training. The first time she was cast as an actress was in the soap-opera Beverly Hills, 90210, in which she had to relocate out to Los Angeles. The role was as the main character in Johnny Mnemonic in which she performed almost all her stunts herself, and established herself as a skilled actor. Her agent was Matt LeBlanc, so through her talent agent she managed to get a regular part on Friends.
